Encha Tech is the entity through which Encha Group invests and actively manages its investments in technology and related sectors. Encha Tech was formed in 2008, following several years of Encha Group's passive investment in technology businesses. With the formation of Encha Tech the directors of Encha Group sought to replicate in the technology sector the business model that Encha had, and continues to pursue successfully in the resources and property sectors. As a result Encha Tech leverages Encha's core competencies and resources to invest, and to actively manage such investments in technology and related businesses. Encha Tech's strategic thrust is currently primarily focused on growing a substantial group of IT businesses.
